Dear Authentication Team,
I am a newbie to Hermes scarf world but already have a feeling that this is a slippery slope... :)
I've been eyeing up this scarf, but having never bought from ebay (newbie danger zone!) would appreciate your comments and insight on it. Is it real?
Item: Les Cles
Listing #: 271153688016
Seller: dreamydesigns4u
It can be found here - http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUTH-HERMES...88016?pt=US_Scarves_Wraps&hash=item3f2204edd0

One thing that got my "guard" up was the country of manufacture - it's listed as Italy (but Hermes silks are typically produced in France, right?) Also, the scarf is missing tags...
Thank you very much for your help!!
Sincerely, N

Hi authenticators,

I've been a lurker on this thread for a while and thought I had a good handle on telling whether a scarf is authentic or not. However, this scarf that I just purchased has got me second-guessing myself, and I was hoping that you all could let me know if I've made a mistake.

Item: Legende de Kuna 90cm twill
Listing no.: 321062158089
Seller: hermes-addict
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Gorgeous-Hermes-Silk-Scarf-LEGENDE-DE-KUNA...

Comments: I felt confident going into this purchase because I thought I had done my homework on the seller both on eBay and on this forum. What concerns me, though, is that the silk on this scarf feels thinner than other (genuine) H scarves that I own; I have weighed it, though, and it does come out to ~68g. The hang tag, too, upon further consideration seems suspect since the rectangular tag looped around the care tag seems to be the norm. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but it worries me now.

I have the scarf with me, so I can provide more pictures if needed. Many thanks, and sorry for the trouble.

This is authentic. Probably feels thinner due to less sizing (starch).

I think this is authentic. Wish I could see the whole scarf flat, so can't give a 100% thumbs up. Seller probably listed it incorrectly as made in Italy.
