Without the above information and current for sale status there will be no authentication

am pretty sure that this is authentic, but pictures are a bit blurry and one sharp close-up would have been nice. If I remember correctly, this seller guarantees authenticity and offer returns. Not sure whether he/she will provide you with additional pictures. So, you could buy it and present close-ups for verification.

Thank you!

This is fake.
Have been in touch with the buyer to ask for a refund, when she gets back to me and if she asks me how do I know it is a fake, what will I say to her as I haven't got a clue between a Authentic Hermes and a fake one. I just assumed as she was only selling the one scarf that it would be genuine.

Regards
Mary

Hello Purse Forum Members. I would greatly appreciate your expertise in authenticating this Hermes scarf - Francoise Faconnet design Astrologie. It is available as a local sale in my area (not an auction item). I've never seen this design with the center sun motif in blue (only gold and dove gray), so I'm suspecting it's a replica. Any information you might provide would be greatly appreciated! Kindest regards.

If you encounter a problem with an ebay seller , post your question in the ebay forum here

http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/

Good luck, I hope she is easy to deal with! If she is not, the folks on the ebay forum will explain how to open a case.

As this is "Authenticate This", any further questions you have about ebay (not the authenticity issue) should probably be asked in the Ebay forum which I have linked to. :smile1:

Hi ladies, it's not often I find something in Australia and would love if you would have a look at this one please...

Thanks

I don't feel good about this. Hermes doesn't use the words "black" and "green" to describe colors.

We need flat pictures to authentic, one full shot and then detail ones.

I would like to thank you all for your help. The buyer has been back on to me and has agreed to a refund, although she thinks it is a genuine Hermes Scarf she said it was bought as a gift so does not have any proof of purchase.

I will look here in future before I start bidding in future, I did notice somewhere that there was a list of reputable e-bay sellers will have to check that out.

Kind Regards
Mary

agree with SDS. This is not authentic.

Item: Duc Carriage/ Les Allures twilly
Seller: valldemont (603)

Comments:

Dear authenticators,

I already had one of these twillies and was looking for a second one to have a pair (what is the official name for these twillies btw? I always thought it was Duc Carriage, but recently another PF member mentioned that the official name should be Les Allures?). When I found one, I was thrilled. I didn't see any red flags, so I bought it.
However, when I received it, I noticed some small differences with the twilly I already have, which I only noticed when I had them side by side.

1. The caretag on the twilly I received is a bit longer. I checked 10 other twillies I have and all of them have the same size caretag. But this one is slightly longer.
2. The Hermès logo/writing on this twilly is thinner than on my other twilly. The Hermès writing on my other twilly is thicker. If you look at picture nr 3 and 4, you can see that the Hermès writing is different.
3. The other Duc Carriage/Les Allures twilly I already had, looks a bit faded in color compared to the one I just bought. There's a slightly color difference between the two. I have to mention, the one I already had, is a sale item, so maybe it is possible that they are slightly different in color? I think you can see the difference in color very well on picture nr. 2. Especially if you look at the darker green details like the stripes and the horses.

I would like to hear your opinion on this and on the twilly I just received. Are these differences normal? I have never seen a slightly longer caretag before. I have included some pictures.
The one on top is the new twilly that looks a bit different, the one below is the one I already had and which is authentic for sure.
If you need more pictures, please let me know. This is the link to the Ebay listing where I bought the twilly I just received:

Thank you so much in advance :smile1:.
