Hello,

I was wondering if someone could please help authenticate or identify this Hermes scarf? It is from a private seller, and these are the only photos which I currently have. Thank you very much!

Name: Hermes Silk Scarf (with made in France tags still attached)

Seller: private seller

Comments: this scarf is from an estate sale, the seller has indicated that it is vintage.

Fake!
"seta" on care label is clearly fake, and the design too horrible to be Hermes

Hello and welcome.

We ask that only members whose posts have demonstrated significant/deep brand knowledge offer authentication opinions. It is also confusing when members who have asked for authentication assistance then offer opinions on authenticity.

Thanks for your understanding.

Dear Authenticators,

Hoping to draw on your expertise once again:

Scarf - Tsubas 90 cm silk
ebay seller; iicors214
ebay ref: 331287140494
Link: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Vintage-Auth...carves_Wraps&hash=item4d2240988e#ht_715wt_929

I know this was originally issued in 1971 and reissued in 1991 I believe, but haven't been able to find any reference to this CW; also can't see a signature on the pictures; was this scarf signed? - I know they generally are but thought there were exceptions for older scarves.

I've attached the link but also posted pictures are below - but the originals have better quality. Your help is greatly apprecicated. Many thanks.

Dear Experts, I am humbly asking for you wise guidance once again!

I have bought this 70cm "Sur les rives de leman" one or two years ago from ebay (don't have the link anymore), and have been paranoid about it since then. It has the feel of vintage silk (maybe softer than my C'est la fete though), but is a few cm smaller. Here are the pics, maybe someone has this design and can compare the size too? Oh and there was also a tag with the cw orange/bleu jean/ivoire 982606S 04 Thank you sooooo much in advance!

I'm sorry but authentications are not provided post-purchase or for private sales. If you could please reread the first post in this thread?

Thanks.

Hello ladies,

I'm new to the wonderful world of Hermes scarves and have lurking around tPF's various scarf threads the last few weeks trying to learn as much as possible. I would greatly appreciate any help you could provide with the following eBay listing (apologies for the short notice since I just found the auction and it ends in a day). Thanks and hope to share pictures of some new acquisitions in the near future!

Item: Hermes "Wedgwood" 90 cm silk scarf

Listing number: 121412614561

Seller: rocky58400

Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121412614561?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Comments: This seller seems to have a record of selling both fake and genuine scarves despite the abundant positive feedback. Has this particular scarf been reissued since 1974 or are there known fakes in existence? Thank you!
