Without the above information and current for sale status there will be no authentication

This thread (like the identification thread) has been abused so often by re-sellers or people who want to sell their private stuff, but can obviously not spare a few dollars for a paid authentication.

As a consequence, I will not authenticate for people new to TPF who don't have a contribution history in other threads (and I mean contribution and not saying 'great scarf').

The same applies for listings, which are closed already.

We have asked a few times that people posting here please read the first page of this thread. Authentication with pictures is sometimes difficult, but with a few pics only it is often impossible. If you want Ebay or other platforms to become better places for buyers, then you have to force sellers to provide pics (again, the number of sellers where you can buy blind is very limited).

Thanks for your understanding

Sorry about abusers. This was my 2nd request - the first was 2 years ago when I bought my first scarf. I only own 2 H scarves so I do stay behind the scenes. Thanks for all your previous authentications.

Sorry for any offense, you have helped me authenticate before with great success. I'm very grateful. So when I asked about this one, I wasn't aware there were any issues with my request. I've been collecting for a little over 4 years now.

Unfortunately the scarf I got, once I received it, I have concerns about. Since the listing is closed, I didn't realize that goes against the authentication thread rules. Is there another way you suggest I get it authenticated? It just "feels" off to me. Please let me know, any help would be greatly appreciated! I do not plan to resell it, it is a grail of mine, but I do want to make sure what I have is the real deal. Thanks so much!

I am extremely sorry that I am hijacking this thread and I'm not in any way an authenticator.
I am just an outsider seeing your profile saying you're from IL. The seller in that listing is also from IL... The scarf was sold on February 22nd, but you waited until March 16th to post authentication request...
Anyway, the issue with silk feel has been addressed many times on this thread, for example:

Whenever I have questions about scarf, I always do a search on this thread or the closed Authentication thread, they're both incredible learning source.

When you have time to visit your boutique, you can try touching the same scarf design, for example, Pique Fleuri de Provence, in different colorways and/or format (90cm vs. pocket square). Or, try this current season black Au Coeur de la Vie scarf vs. the plain Quadri scarf. I'm sure you will feel the differences.

In my opinion, I was very sorry you got ripped off at the price you paid for that Rencontre... Looking at the NW-SE corners of the scarf and at the description by the seller "I dont think this has ever been worn." - it just made my stomach churn. Meanwhile, there's one excellent condition one available on It's All Goode for like forever for just some dollars more. http://www.its-all-goode.com/Rencontre-Oceane-JK052.htm?categoryId=-1

Comments: Is this a reputable seller? Thanks in advance :-)

this is authentic and trendyground remains a reputable seller in terms of authenticity.
quality (e.g. condition of the scarf) is sometimes an issue, but prices are set to reflect this.

Hello Ladies,

Can you please authenticate this Hermes scarf.
Thanks!

Hello ladies, I loved this scarf when I saw it worn in the movie New Years Eve. Is this price too good to be true? Please advise me on its authenticity:
