Without the above information and current for sale status there will be no authentication

1. The Jardin Creole is authentic (and a fabulous piece!)

2. Trendyground remains a trusted seller in terms of authenticity.

Ok, thanks DDC! I admit I was hesitant to even post, because I know Trendyground is a trusted seller, and as I said, I have bought one other gorgeous scarf from her (if we are talking about a her). I was worried about casting a cloud on the reputation of a good seller, but I felt I needed to make sure. I do love this pattern SO much, I will probably pick it up in another CW someday.

Hello I'll be most grateful for help in authenticating this Hermes scarf:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221390273754&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123

(nr 221390273754 Hermes Jouvence blue scarf on eBay)

This is the reissue of the "Jouvence" scarf on plain twill which does not have a copyright sign as does the 1968 issue on jacquard, and no 3-dimensional shadows behind the design. I have red and looked at everything available on the 'net re this matter but all the jacquard scarves on sale have the "c" and all the reissues don't. I wonder if the reissues on sale maybe all fakes or for some reason Hermes has omitted the copyright symbol on the reissues on twill of this design.
Many thanks again and in advance for the brilliant help and blog.

Hello,
If a mod can help me out on the authenticity of this scarf top, I'd be greatly appreciative!
Thank you!

Item: Hermes scarf silk print halter top
Listing number: 251470377889
Seller: clara1018
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251470377889?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
Comments if any: I noticed that this scarf top does not have hand rolled edges but am not sure if that general rule applies to this vintage piece.

This is authentic.
RTW pieces do not have to have hand-rolled edges (also applies for most of the Pareos).

If you take the time to read through this or other threads on TPF, you will notice that the omission of the C (especially on a re-issue) does not mean it is fake. It is just a different version.

Thank you tremendously for your help!

Authenticity is less a problem on Vestiaire than the quality of the items (I am speaking for the Hermes scarf section, nothing else). As far as I know, Vestiaire guarantees authenticity. So far, I have not seen fakes there, but I don't follow it on a daily basis.
For reasons unknown to me Vestiaire thinks a purchaser can get an idea of a scarf and make an educated buying decision with 2 to 4 pics only. If you die to have one of the scarves listed, feel free to purchase and post them later if you are uncomfortable.

Hello Authenticators. I just purchased one of my grails off Ebay and it feels stiffer and not as soft as other scarves I own. The "feel" of it has me concerned. I am happy to post pictures of it directly as well, but here is the original listing info:

Please let me know if additional photos will help! Thank you!

Hi again, I think this might have been missed the first go around. When you have the chance, please let me know what you think or if specific more photos are needed....thank you so so much!

Hi dear authenticators. I am a scarf lover and an avid collector on a budget. I have gained lots of knowledge that helped me avoid mistakes by reading this section of the site. 2 of my previous charity shop Hermes finds were authenticated here and I am so very thankful for that. Now I am really hoping to add a 3rd one to that list. I have done my home work and checked for all the signs and it seems good to me. However I would really appreciate the help of the pros.

Item: Hermes Fantaisies Indiennes 35' silk scarf
Listing number: NA
Seller: local thrift store

Comments: thank you in advance for your time.

One of your photos has captured my favorite thing about this scarf...a picture of the first Indian in space!! It always makes me smile...I'm not an authenticator, so can't help there, sorry to say.
