Hello ladies,
Would really appreciate if you could help with authentication of this scarf:

Item: hermes scarf "brides rebelles" 100% silk print - worn once!

Listing number: 121288012635

Seller: hock-your-frocks00

Link: http://http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/hermes-scarf-brides-rebelles-100-silk-print-worn-once-/121288012635?pt=AU_Women_Accessories&hash=item1c3d54335b

I may be repeating myself, but I won't be in a position to authenticate a scarf with such few and poor pics.

There is a handful of sellers where I would buy blind and would not need a single pic, but the vast majority of the posts here do not fall into this category (and if, we try to mention it).

We have a pretty good description of what is required in terms of pictures and other information on page 1 of this thread. I wonder whether it ever gets read. :graucho:

sorry, need more pictures to make a valid statement

Continuing from post # 2103:
I requested more pictures from the seller of the Reve de Corail scarf I asked about in post # 2103, and the seller has now added two more pictures on the Ebay link listed in my post. Could you please have another look and see if the scarf is consistent with Hermes quality, i.e. Is authentic?
Sorry for this akward format, but did not manage to qoute both my original request and dame de coeur's reply here.

Thank you very much in advance!

This is not a request this time, but a HUGE thank you for the authenticators. Dame de Coeur, sdsurfchick, and those others who help, and have helped on this thread deserve a standing ovation.

It is almost completely through this generous service, and the knowledge I have gained here that I have been able to purchase, with great confidence, a now amazing collection of scarves. Many many scarves have been authenticated for me, by you. That you so selflessly give of your time and expertise is extraordinary.

Thank you, thank you.

This appears to be authentic.

This is most certainly not the right forum to post this kind of question but I hope someone might be either able to answer or redirect me to the right forum.
I am puzzled as to why all of my Hermes cashmere silk blend shawls develop heavy pilling after just couple of wears. Is that something normal? I can't keep buying new ones just so they look nice. Especially the ones that have white in them look so worn and old with the pilling on them. What am I doing wrong. I am wearing them under my coats, we have a nasty winter here in NY. Is that pilling coming off if I dry clean them? I never had one dry cleaned (just the silk ones I dry cleaned and they really came out ruined, the plum stitched hem was flat as it can be). I would post a picture if I would just know how to do that.

Here are several threads that you may want to read and/or revive w/these questions/comments:

CS/GM poor quality
Oh no! My new gm shawl is pilling!
The Fragility Of GM Shawls (this one includes pulls and pills)

Or, you may want to read and/or add these questions/comments to the clubhouse:

Ode to the Cashmere/Silk GM Shawls

GL!

I can only second this, I also especially appreciate the polite and kind way you respond, even when we ask the most inane questions - we all have a lot to learn from you all - many, many thanks!

Suggest you have a coffee first :graucho: and then read my reply on the last request from you.
I am sorry, but I simply cannot and will not authenticate (regardless of the design) with 4 pics only ... and will simply ignore these requests instead of saying the same thing over and over again.
