Hi Ladies. I searched the thread and found one comment from DDC that she's not going to authenticate a maxi twilly. But anyways try my chance to see if this one is authentic:

Item Name: Used HERMES Maxi Twilly
Listing number: 281260960054
Seller: jdm_egcivic_gsr
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Used-HERMES-Maxi-Twilly-/281260960054

TIA!

Hi Ovi. I don't think you will have luck because she was very clear: she does not authenticate Maxi-Twillys. This is because they are laser printed and therefore easy to copy/hard to authenticate. If I was in your position, I would rely on looking at the history of the seller. Do they accept returns? Do they regularly sell Hermes? Do they have a large number of identical scarves (which would be a bad sign)? And so on.

Thank you for your reply and suggestions, nana845.

Indeed, we prefer to authenticate for TPF members who contribute in other threads. Mindless chatter is not considered as contributing, i.e. the number of posts is not of relevance.
Thanks for clarifying. Feel so unknowledgeable to be able to contribute among all the wonderful knowledge here! And only have a handful of Hermes scarves, 1 Chanel... almost no collection really to show. I'll keep on observing the different forum areas to see if there's something I might be able to share or help with

Just to clarify, we are not asking new members to contribute by authenticating, but by posting in threads other than authentication (where, presumably, they are asking for assistance). Hope that clears it up.

Dear authenticators,
This seller keeps producing scarves in this same colorway so I would appreciate reassurance about it's authenticity.
Additionally, I thought that the copyright symbol did not appear on these scarves until the 1960's....
The care tag appears like those of newer scarves.
Could this be authentic but just not an original issue?
Thank you.

The "S" stamped on the silk under the care label means it was purchased at a sale, possibly at the recent one in Paris. At the very least you should ask if the S can be seen on the other side of the scarf.

Hi Ladies, I won this item, Pl help to authenticate:

Item Name: Authentic Vintage HERMES SCARF from1965/Les Voitures a Tranformation/Françoise
Item no. 251440930169
Seller: agrade_2008
Link:
http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/251440930169?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Comments: May I know why some of "Tranformaton" scarf have on the left bottom corner "Hermes c" printed on it, but some do not have that ?

TIA !
I think this is authentic, and also that it has been issued more than once, which could explain the copyright issue.
