Item: HERMES RED TOGO BIRKIN 30CM WITH RECEIPT

thank uuuuu:yahoo:

There are scads of fakes out there, including this one. As our time is being given freely, and is limited, it would be best to limit requests to bags you are truly interested in. There is no "rule" on how many bags you can post, or why, but just common courtesy. Thanks. I would suggest the recommended resellers thread. The process of authenticating has gotten fairly complicated; you are much safer going that route.

Im in market to buy a Birkin bag...but couldnt afford the retail price...

I did my homework and kinda figure how to look the heat stamp

There is more to it than a heat stamp. It would be helpful if you kept an eye on reputable sellers. There are occasional deals to be had on older bags not in 100 per cent condition.

Ladies, I am at your mercy! Could someone please render an opinion on this one? If it is authentic, I can sleep tonight, if not, then I want to have something to go back to the seller with. THANKYOU VERY MUCH, I really appreciate your expertise and help. (and yes, I should have come here before I bought...the stress is so not worth it!!! )

Can you please use the format and provide more details about the seller? Blue jean is difficult. The photos look pretty good to me but I would want someone else to weigh in on it.

I think it looked ok as well. Although I agree blue jean can be tricky![/QUOTE

item: 35 cm blue Jean birkin
seller: entre nous (consignment shop on 3rd street in LA)

Thank you so much for looking at this and I
apologize for the format problem. I bought
the bag last Friday and received it Wednesday. On Monday I posted some pictures from the seller that were not too good and gracekelly kindly responded that she was "not crazy about it"
thus when I got it on Wednesday I took as many pictures as I thought would help authenticate it. As background, I spoke to the seller extensively, got the story on the bag, including all the details from the purchase receipt which I can add if it would help. I know it doesn't make it authentic, but having phone numbers, a store and an AOL account made me feel more confidence than buying via complete cyberspace. When I got the bag, I thought it was quite nice, but my only expience with the real thing is looking at them in the shop.

Please limit your requests to purchases you are seriously considering. We are happy to help you determine if a bag you are considering is authentic, but this is a volunteer service that is time consuming, and we hope that you will do some homework before posting.

If you are trying to hone your skills at discovering fakes, thats just great, please use the REPUTABLE SELLERS list to see authentic bags and the Hall of Shame threads to compare and contrast.

Please take the time to read the first post in this thread and post in the proper format.

New to Hermes? Please check the reputable sellers list FIRST!!
