The paypal e-check the winning bidder of the etoupe has sent me is BOUNCED back unpaid!!! I have received this email from paypal:




Hi, your e-check payment has been declined by your
bank!!! please contact me ASAP to arrange for a
bank transfer!

An eCheque payment from x
could not be processed
from the sender's bank. Please do not post any
items. We have cancelled this transaction and
advise you to contact the sender to make new
payment arrangements.


I think they tried to scam me, sending e-check hoping I post the bag and then they cancelled the e-check??? as paypal said their bank did not had the money to clear paypal e-check!!! I can not believe her! I really trusted her!

hi i have, but the lady forward to me what she got from paypal.. the story is the same like the buyer who bought the bag said here on the forum, but she did not say that she cancelled the payment, so the seller said she has relisted the bag and that she bought the bag in London from official store.

As posted earlier in the week, I bought it from a reseller in LA (entre nous), it came with a receipt and the box, rain kits, bags, ribbon etc. The hardware still had/has most of the plastic on it. I have taken many pictures in both natural light and with a flash, so I hope there is enough here to authenticate it. The only thing to me that is notable (and captured in the pictures) is that the interior of the bag is slightly lighter blue than the exterior. Thanks for your expertise and help, it is really appreciated.

I see that you are "stabbing in the dark" in your hunt for a Birkin. Have you seen tPF's recommended seller's list? There are some great sellers who have reasonable prices for pre-loved H bags... two that a lot of us buy from are SandiaExchange and Kaleidoplace. I have had personal experience with them and highly recommend. There are a lot of others, too!

Sorry, there are too many red flags here. There are numerous features that lead me to believe that the bag is not authentic. Putting a pic upof Vicky B is not going to convince me.

I suggest that you pass on this. No further pix are required.

I'm not sure we are talking about the same bag. I did see this post but I thought this was about the gold birkin with gold hardware, not the black birkin with the gold hardware. I must have misunderstood. I do think that the comments overall on this seller are enough for me to move on.

Yes, thank you. I feel like I'm misstepping all over the place, including getting the hang out of this forum. Who knew shopping for a birkin could be so hard? ... I can research and select a car for purchase in a week, yet can't seem to get a handle on these complexities! Although I suppose it is rarer to come across counterfeit cars... :smile1:
