Item: Authentic Hermes 23cm Black Box Calf Constance
Item # MAL-HE-1525
Seller: Garo High Fashion & Jewelries
Link: http://luxury.malleries.com/authentic-hermes-23cm-black-box-calf-constance-i-29846-s-335.html

Please authenticate this constance handbag for me, and please tell me if you feel it is fairly priced.

Thank you very much!!!!

The bag looks authentic and, though price is subjective, the price seems fair. But, the seller says the bag is mint, and talks about some scratches. Some minor scratches are inevitable, even with a box bag that is straight from H....but these pics dont show the back clearly...so...maybe more pictures?? I would want to see every detail. Also, they will not refurbish the interior, and I am not sure what I am seeing in that interior shot, maybe just a smudge....?

regarding the JPG........... one of the members from SG has one of this exact combo if I recall correctly.......... gorgeous bag, and I think it is authentic...........;)

Thanks very much Sydspy. I think second thought about this JPG though coz I had a closer look at the pictures and saw that there are a couple of pretty obvious creases in the middle on the front. So, I think I'll give it a miss.

Hello, not great pics to go by but hopefully you will be able to tell? This is on a Swiss auction site. Thank you!

CB and CG - i remember when i was authenticating my kelly last year, the gold stamp also throw confusion for authenticators and till now, I still don't know why. Craftman confirmed it's chamonix and told me, gold hardware, gold stamp despite me saying shouldn't it be a heat stamp. I want to find out too.

I believe licencetocook has one too, and hers heat stamped

My Chamonix Kelly has Gold stamp.

I agree with CobaltBlu about the Constance, authentic.

If you are going to ask for more pictures to get a better idea of condition, which is always a good idea, why don't you ask what year it is as well?

Honestly I think it is priced just a little bit on the high side. For that price I personally would want it really to be Mint as the seller says. Possibly they would be open to an offer.

They also have a smaller 18cm Constance which has a couple of scratches shown in their pictures, it is $2200.

PLEASE AUTHENTICATE THIS ONE

Comment: Sorry to bother you lovely people again. I have another one for your comments. Please also tell me what price should be reasonable for this bag. Many thanks in advance for your kind help. :)

I do not see any red flags in the pictures, I think this is authentic. Looks like Togo to me. Seller seems to be reputable. Has sold Hermes before.

Price is such a subjective matter, I think the seller has a fair price at present and also invites offers. I would suggest you search completed listings on eBay to get an idea.

Well...oh my.

First of all, I actually did take a moment of MY TIME to ask you to use the format. I cannot account for any of the other authenticators but I imagine I am not the only one who spent time on this.

Then---thinking you actually had a real authentication request---I took a little time to put the incorrectly parsed link (below) in my browser and actually make it a live link so I could see the bag...in case you needed help right away on an auction about to close. Then I was treated with a few seconds of looking at this hideous piece of dreck, seconds of my life I will never recover and that were totally wasted.

Then, I took another moment to go back edit my post requesting that you use the format to say that I had checked and that the bag was not real.

Then a few more moments to formulate a polite response, complete with smiley, to let you know that this thread really is for serious requests only, but that you had a pass on this one misstep.

Then, another few moments to read your (rude) response to me, multiquote the whole mess and write this response.

All this....in the hopes that you will take a moment to understand that we are all volunteers here and and that our time is valuable, and that we are here to help serious people find authentic bags and avoid losing serious amounts of money.

I see that you are new to the forum, posting wise, and seem to gravitate toward authentication threads. I hope you will have a better understanding of what we are trying to do here in the future.

Now...Back to Topic
