MIMSTER.....this is a stunning bag which I believe is Chamonix. I can't remember the name of the other leather that looks similar (old age brain cells.....)

I'm not an authenticator, but due to the gold stamp I believe it can't be either chamonix or vache naturelle (if that's the other leather you were thinking of S'Mom)

this is my 32 chamonix natural
the stamping is gold.
i asked the craftman and he confirmed this is chamonix natural, and it's not uncommon for it to hv gold stamping.
vache naturelle will be heat stamped right?

oh robee, there's that beaute again! ok, i stand corrected. so your strap and the bag both have gold then? wonder if that was requested by the person ordering?? well anyway, it does make identifying more puzzling then

yes both bag and strap, gold. don't think it has to do with the ordering.
craftman said, gold hardware so use gold stamping. hahahahhah what an answer.

Hello S'mom, lailaT & robee. I'm confused as the seller states that it is box and she confirmed it when I asked for clarification. Hence the higher price. Would box not have gold stamping due to the the gold hwd?

Mimster - in layman term, chamonix is matte box. same leather but matte.

MIMSTER It's a gorgeous, authentic bag. I love Chamonix because of it's matte-ness (if I can use that word)....it has a glow but no shine. This bag is a lovely example.

I agree that the bag is authentic, but the pictures confused me....there are a couple that look like chamonix, but the blind stamp looks like box. I wish seller had taken better pics.

That's what threw me, Cobalt, and is why I didn't comment. Figured I'd better leave it to better heads than mine.

CB and CG - i remember when i was authenticating my kelly last year, the gold stamp also throw confusion for authenticators and till now, I still don't know why. Craftman confirmed it's chamonix and told me, gold hardware, gold stamp despite me saying shouldn't it be a heat stamp. I want to find out too.

I believe licencetocook has one too, and hers heat stamped
