Good question and it happens numerous times per week. There is no good answer to the question.

Please let me know what you think about this bag and if I should proceed with paying for this bag. I submitted the offer and it was automatically accepted so I honestly didn't even expect this to happen so quickly and didn't have enough time to do the research.

This bag was previously discussed and is fake post 3054. You are the second person to fall for this scam. Research in future before hitting the BIN button!
Thank you! I didn't really hit BIN I submitted the offer though which I thought the seller would take a look at but it was accepted automatically and I won it without even knowing about it till the seller sent me invoice
)Now I believe I would have to pay for it and then file a claim si I can return it back since I don't want to be suspended from eBay...any other suggestions how can I deal with this situation? Thank you!
It states that when you submit an offer, you are agreeing to purchase if the offer is accepted so you better make sure you want it. It is not a fishing expedition. You do not have to pay for a fake bag and the seller is not allowed to leave you bad FB. Just report the item as a fake.

for those unfamiliar with eBay: the seller can set a threshold price to automatically accept offers over a minimum $ amount of the seller's choosing. eBay is not a negotiating forum, even though there may be opportunities to accept/decline counter offers. ALL offers are commitments to purchase.

Nothing I see in these pictures makes me think that this is a Hermes bag. The seller may think she struck gold, but I would say it is more like tin.
