guccigucci - all Gucci characteristics seem in line. The craftsmanship is on the mark, the sequence of serial number is on, hardware seems right - unless someone can show you something that is not in line, I would say you got a good one.

Thanks Jo Ly! The reason I ask is because I purchased the bag in St.Johns, Antigua. The store I purchased it from was all designer bags, wallets, sunglasses ranging from Chloe, Prada, Ballenciaga, etc. I was pretty determined that it was real. I brought the bag back to the states where I asked the Gucci retailer store to help me authenticate it. The sales lady rubbed the strap and said they never made it. I was puzzled by her response so I went back and asked her what she meant by gucci does not make it. Does it mean its simply fake or does it mean Gucci does not make the design anymore. She simply said she cannot say that the bag is fake, but that Gucci did not make that bag. Then she comes out to say if Gucci doesn't make it, than its fake.
I tried looking online for the same exact bag, but i do not see it. I see a bag similar to that which has a red and green on the middle between the two handles. What else can I do? I'm so lost and confused.
Hopefully I can get more suggestions from others of what to do. Thanks again Jo Ly!!

You are most welcome. Something I have picked up from the forum, especially from the European members is that the U.S. doesn't necessarily get everything that Europe does. Because the SA could not authenticate it, does not mean it's real, it just means that they may have never seen it before and therefore could not authenticate it.

I hope this works out for you, the bag looks great and authentic to me.
