guccigucci said:Thanks Jo Ly! The reason I ask is because I purchased the bag in St.Johns, Antigua. The store I purchased it from was all designer bags, wallets, sunglasses ranging from Chloe, Prada, Ballenciaga, etc. I was pretty determined that it was real. I brought the bag back to the states where I asked the Gucci retailer store to help me authenticate it. The sales lady rubbed the strap and said they never made it. I was puzzled by her response so I went back and asked her what she meant by gucci does not make it. Does it mean its simply fake or does it mean Gucci does not make the design anymore. She simply said she cannot say that the bag is fake, but that Gucci did not make that bag. Then she comes out to say if Gucci doesn't make it, than its fake.
I tried looking online for the same exact bag, but i do not see it. I see a bag similar to that which has a red and green on the middle between the two handles. What else can I do? I'm so lost and confused.
Hopefully I can get more suggestions from others of what to do. Thanks again Jo Ly!!
