I was wondering if someone would mind helping me authenticate these:

eBay: AUTH NEW GUCCI HORSEBIT HOBO LEATHER BAG TAN - LARGE (item 160047995853 end time Nov-06-06 18:31:00 PST)

eBay: L@@K! GORGEOUS GUCCI HORSEBIT HOBO IN RARE OSTRICH!!! (item 250045287025 end time Nov-06-06 19:38:43 PST)


I'd like to learn... so if they're fake, can you let me know what tells you their lack of authenticity?

If the auctions have ended by the time you look, that's okay - as I said, I just want to learn at this stage, I can wait to buy!

no, thats the thing.. cause without photos of the serial number, it seems quite hard to verify if its authentic or not. but my friend pointed out that it lookks authentic. but we all know that this is not conclusive..

I agree, I would not bid without seeing more pictures....The gucci fakes are so good now. Some you cannot tell unless you see it in person, since all the details including serial number look good in the photos.

Can somebeody help to see whether these bagas are authentic? each of the bag comes with controlatto card and dust bag? Price is half of their original price. thansk a bunch!:confused1:

I have a bag similiar to the first bag.. The tote with the off white leather trim.. I would say I would need bigger pics, and pics of the inside and I can compare it to mine later when I get home? You can PM me to remind me to check

Unfortunately, the bags are not mine. Hm.., I guess it's difficult... She said she bought from a website and sent from italy.... She was convinced that they were genuine. Anyway, thanks for your help mssmelanie...

Help! can anyone out there tell me what the canvas of the gucci messenger bags is like? I got one on ebay, suspect its a fake. It feels like it is vinyl coated canvas-- not just the plain canvas like other bags. What does the authentic one feel like?
