Hi, I need help with this bag I recently got. Can you tell if it's real or not? The bag is small suede caramel brown color. The thing that has me thinking is the lining it says "GUCCI" all around is that ok or a sign of a fake? Here are some pic...thanks!

The pictures were pretty small, so it was hard to see detail but it looks ok to me. Regarding the lining, it is fine. This is from several years ago and they did have this lining.

Hello fellow PF gals!

I really have no experience with Gucci handbags and I
really need your help.

I purchased my first Gucci bag from a reputable seller at $135 US
And I'm suspecting it may be fake?

I noticed that the stitching is kinda course and rough.Then, I noticed that the GG monogram does not have clear squares in between the G's... the
Guccissima boots that I've been lusting over have the clear squares. The bag has sorta hazy rectangle/circles, no distinct edges on the dots between Gucci.

I've included a link to the many pictures;

When I checked the lining and noticed that there was an odd clear glue holding the fabric together. As well, the serial number on the back of the Gucci tag looks short, and there are globs of black
laminate/glue/leather paint where the serial number
is. Perhaps Gucci does this? Or they have issues with
quality control? Or vintage bags do this? Seller
purchased it several years ago. The bag also has
yellowed glue, it seems like, at some seams, and the
metal has tarnished significantly.

Thanks very much in advance:flowers:

sweetie this bag it looks fake to me but I'm not sure about it...my point here is that you must do your homework before bidding on items like that..I can tell you you can get a brand new Gucci fron NM last call for a couple of bucks more. Good Luck!:wtf:

No, I think luxuryivy sells fakes! Wait till someone else comes along.
That's correct, I can confirm that Luxuryivy sells fakes (funny, i was just mentioning this seller in another thread).
He sold me a fake Dietrich Line Tote (similar to mine in my collection but the horizontal version) about 2 years ago. When I confronted him, his response was send it back and I'll send you a better one. After explaining to him that I did NOT do fakes and to give me back my money shipping included, he did. First he gave me some bullsh*t story about money order and when I started to pull out my guns he refunded me via Paypal.
I'd stay clear...very far away.

Oh...also, it's important to mention that his FAKES smell of leather. This fools alot of unknowing buyers, however the craftmanship does not even come close to that of Gucci...not even close.

Thanks Highmaintenance.

Unfortunately, this was the only bag Im unfamiliar with and my Aunt had wanted it and I didn't double check.:push: I'm more familiar with Louis Vuittons, Balaneciagas and Fendi because I own several of each bags and this Gucci happens to be the one and only.

Can anybody confirm if it's fake or real?

The seller is willing to reimburse a return. I don't want to make any
accusations until I get your opinon, and then I can present the seller with your opinons and get a refund if it's not authentic.

Thanks=)

Please ask to see a picture of the inside tag and serial number. Looking at the other bags they sold, I would be cautious of this seller.

thanks :flowers:. And btw I change my mind since the pic looks so professional seems not the bag that they are selling (copy from somewhere). I've asked the seller to give me more pictures but never replied.
