thanks so much, im getting a gucci in sept anyways so i can wait i was just being greedy :rolleyes: lol well it may be a week tomorrow if i cant hold off :graucho: but i really want to wait until london so i can have the whole gucci shop buying bag feel instead of flannels buying bag feel hehe! and i get good service in gucci because my mum wears a bag usually and im decked all over in their jewellery so they know we mean some buisness :yahoo:

Hello I am new to The Purse Forum and I hope on my first post it is okay to ask you to authenticate a Gucci I brought on eBay. See the link below, Thanks;

eBay: Designer 100% Authentic Gucci runway handbag purse new (item 290012743199 end time Jul-30-06 06:00:31 PDT)

What worries me about this purse is that their is no Gucci lining. The outside is nice leather but the inside is not. The serial number tag has a circle where they wre going to punch it but it did not go through. There is a controllato card and care care but no dust bag. The seller has emailed me back stating she got it a long ago from Saks or Norstroms but swears it is authentic. Her feedback is very good.

Fake, the tag inside is wrong. Gucci never made theat tag.

Thank you ChanelChick, I am disheartened to hear that. I thought that with such positive feedback that the seller was honest. How can I tell if a tag is fake or not. I checked Aegiale's eBay site but she does not go into serial number tags. I think sthey had a only a couple of examples. I wish we had examples from the outlets.

Well the whole tag is off. Gucci has never made a tag like that. Aegiale's has all the tags gucci made for the bags even the fake ones, go though it once more.

Hi,
After looking at it again, It seems I might have made a mistake. This could be real. With my lack of knowledge with this particular style and make, I would suggest to wait for other people to have their own inputs. Also, maybe you could contact Aegiale and ask her what she thinks. I think that would be the best way possible. Sorry again,:crybaby: hope this helps.

Hi, I’ve been looking for a new Gucci belt on Ebay. I’ve found one interesting kind of belt:wlae: , but the way the serial number is embossed on each belt, confuses me:weird: . As you can see on the attached pictures below, none of the serial numbers are embossed identical, even though it is the same kind of belt. Is that normal?

I’m not a Gucci expert, so I would like to hear some opinions from you, and help me authenticate the belts.
