Yes this appears to be the same bag...Google didn't have the picture cached anymore from the gucci.com site . Another thing I would check is if the canvas appears too stiff. Authentic should have softer fabric that collapses when empty.

Could anyone tell me how I might authenticate a small bardot that I purchased? The serial numbers on the underside of the inside leather tag read 002(dot)1068, and underneath, 1781. I think the bag is a few years old. It is light brown with a chocolate color brown leather trim, and silver hardware. I've seen a few photos of them, but can't be sure what are authentic bags - the serial numbers on ones posted on ebay are all different - mine has a dot in between the numbers on the first line. I'm new to Gucci bags, and I have a feeling mine is not authentic. Thanks so much!
