Okay this should finally be enough haha. The serial number is really big and clear in this pic that she sent me: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2814832040102428226oQCslt?vhost=good-times and here is the link to the auction again http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250252303099&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=015 the first time she listed it the starting price was 695, and she said she was too small to pull off the bag, that was the only reason why she was selling it. She also said she purchased the bag while in Italy, so if there are differences between the bags sold in Italy and the bags sold in the US that can be taken into account. Thank you so much to anyone that can make me feel good about this bag because I am in LOVE with it and I want a Gucci so badly! Thanks so much for all the help.

Looks ok so far, but the photos are blurry. I would ask for some clear photos of the inside tag, serial number, and inside zipper pull.

This is what she has sent (it was quick - she must have been asked before).
She says the Serial number is 120837 001998 and the front of the tag says R (in a circle) then under that GUCCI and under that made in Italy.
(I hope the photos come up alright as I had to reduce them from the email ones she sent)
