I explained I don't have a clue about Gucci, and trusted a sellers word that this was authentic, her feedback is good, she is a my poupette seller, her previous products have been authentic, and Im surprised she would risk her rep selling a fake (knowingly anyway) hence my need to clarify. If I had a Gucci in my state I would enquire with them.

Is there anyway of finding out about vintage Gucci, are there any references on them? Have you all been buying/into Gucci for the last 20 years to be so certain....the my poupette seller said that often the sales assistants don't have a clue because the bags are older than they are....

There are Powerseller that sells mixed of real and fakes because they think they can get away with it. The bag might be a consignment piece too, but who knows? And sellers are human and would make mistakes. You can post the ebay link on the ebay purse board for more opinions or contact Aegiale via ebay (she is the vintage expert). Caroldiva has knowledge of both vintage and current pieces, also Castira. But no matter how many people you ask, I am sure you are going to get the same answer. I know Gucci but I don't know LV, so I'd not comment on LV. And My Poupette recommended sellers are mainly LV sellers.

If you go to the KnowKnockoffsForum.com, the seller's thread is there and someone reported her Chloe as fake. That's where I get my info on the Chloe.

I'd suggest you to contact Caroldiva, since Ebay and Paypal accept her letter as claim on any dispute. I've done all I can. I understand you're frustuated because of this, and you've passed the 45 days deadline for the claim and not sure if you would get your money back. And it feel bad to get scammed by someone you trust.
