My post keeps getting skipped. Is anyone here on the Gucci Forum an expert in authenticating Gucci Watches? Especially old ones? Or can anyone tell me what to look for to see if a Gucci Watch is real?? This is an old watch given to me by my MIL. Would like some help authenticating it...I don't know anything about this brand. Thanks.

I'm trying to authenticate an Abbey bag in dark brown... I have managed to lose my camera cord so I can't take any pictures right now. Does anyone have any pictures that would help me authenticate on my own? Or just some hints? I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but I can't go back through 1538 pages. And I can't find a search feature.

One give away that this might not be authentic to me: the folded booklet that came with it called "la cura del prodotto" has a number on it that does not match the stamp on the tag in the bag. are they supposed to?

I read somewhere on here (and now I can't find it) something about how the logos line up on the sides... am I making that up or does it have something to do with it.

Any help would be appreciated, I'll try to find a camera that I can borrow soon.

Apologies....if the pic I am posting looks ridiculous, do you know if this bag is GUCCI??????
I don't think it is but someone claimed that it is. I've never seen this kind of GUCCI bag before???

IMO, this is totally fake, ugly and wrong model, especially the front zipper & the bamboo handle. Kindly advise.

They do not look right to me. Do not bid w/out close up photos. We need to look at close up on the monogram fabric, Gucci tag, serial number, zipper pull, the bag sitting by itself and not hooked up.

Bags look ok so far, if you want to, you can ask for a picture of the Gucci tag.

You might have to take the watch to a retail shop where they sell Gucci watches to check out. I've no idea on watches, I have only 1! We are not ignoring you, just we have no clue what to look for. Your watch is an older style too.

Maybe the ebay board has a specialized forum for watches????

First of all, where did you buy your bag? Do you have an ebay link we can look at while you hunt down a camera? There are different things to look for but without looking at pictures, we cannot do much. Is there a serial number? The Gucci booklet # is not related to the serial number in the bag.

I personally have doubts, but would need to look at more pictures... seriously! ;)

thanks sweetie for at least responding hehe. :flowers: i'll take your advice. hopefully its authentic so i can wear it. i won't want to wear it until i confirm if its real or not.
