can anyone else offer any opinion too?:s

im currently in contact with the seller...i told her i thought the bag was in poor condition and that i believe it is fake....based on what i have read here...

but she is claiming it IS real, bought in a real Gucci store in St Thomas...

i guess i need some more AMMO...anyone have anything, based on my picture?

hey can someone help me authenticate this just by looking at the canvas. I requested more pix but if it looks fake from the canvas I don't want to bother. The mono looks a little oval to me instead of rounded, but I'm not sure. appreciate it thanks

Is there a serial number behind the tag stamped in gold letters? It's obviously a vintage Gucci (probably 80's)--the gold plate, zipper pull are correct for vintage bags. That might explain the cracked/strange leather. It might not even be leather--could be the nylon coated canvas? As for the contrallato card--that is a bit odd. I've never seen one for vintage Guccis but maybe they had them... Ask when she bought it. Good luck!

the inside feels like pleather and its sort of plush...if that makes sense....the outisde feels like plastic almost...its weird...

Your legitimate reason for return is the condition of the bag (not as stated in the listing nor as shown in the photos, etc.) It's an older bag and time, things, and Gucci changes =) My mother gave me a Gucci over 30 years ago; I no longer have the bag but I still have the sleeper bag and it is nothing like the bags in use today. It works both ways, I suppose. If Guccio Gucci could see some of the Gucci bags of 2006 I suspect he would proclaim some of them fake! =)
