sneez ~ I think you're not getting any responses because people are not sure. There is nothing to me about this bag that is screaming that it is fake. For example, a black Gucci card, ridiculously low BINs for brand new items, - those things when you see it, people can chime in FAKE right away.

This auction doesn't have anything like that.. So then I think hmmm.. I don't see the normal fake signs. So I can't call it fake, but I can't say without a doubt that the item is real so then I don't respond to the poster.

As I stated earlier, I believe this went on sale at Gucci this past Dec. When Gucci does their sale, all sales are final so I am assuming they probably could not return it and that's why they are selling it.. I checked their feedback, and they don't have a history of selling bags that I can see so I can't go by that. My gut is to say it's real but I think I hesitate because I don't want to say it's absolutely authentic and have it turn out not to be. I think the bag looks good, the shopping bag, the receipt, etc. But all these can be faked. I am leaning 90% authentic.

The one time on this thread where I was able to say without a doubt that a bag was authentic was when someone actually posted an authenticity question about one of my ebay auctions. My ebay id and posting id are not the same so they didn't know who I was.

So I hope my posting helps you in some way. Good luck...

I hate to be a pest, but there's still no response after I posted several times, please HELP! TIA!

Hi! I've never bought a bag on eBay before. Does this bag look authentic? What kind of pictures should I ask the seller for? Thanks for your help!

Maybe someone is familiar with this bag, I cant say, but for shure you need a pic of inside, of the tag inside (both the front and back of tag) as well as a better non blurry photo of the hardware, and a closeup by the zipper that shows the stitching.

I have this one on my watch list, everything seems to be right about this bag, however I was puzzled by the lack of peeling/flaking on the lining(which is characteristic of this age of bag). then I noticed on pic #10 at the top of lining it looks puckered on the left side, leading me to believe that the lining has possibly been replaced? (just a guess, but in my opinion it appears so) and if it has been replaced it wasnt by Gucci, my understanding is that they wont repair vintage Accessory Collection items. Just some food for thought, but as far as the bag being authentic, Im leaning toward yes.

Hi Krippy - this isdef 100% authentic and NOT all vintage bags have a ruined lining. If they were stored properly they can look brand new! It will be a good deal!

Thats good to know Luna, Yeah, I have seen some with pristine linings, but it is rare, usually they have some sort of flaking/peeling. And this guys bags seem to all look like authentic vintage. What was getting me was where the stitching and lining looked puckered in one of the photos. But I also know that not all accessory collection items were perfect, some did have imperfections. All in All I agree with you though, it does look authentic.

Hi Krippy this is also authentic. From 1989.
Thanks Luna, I'm hesitant to say authentic if I'm not 100% sure. I'm glad someone else here knows vintage too, always good to increase my Gucci knowledge. I was wondering about the year, I'm glad someone knew. thanks again for the info.
