The wrinkling is because the bag was squashed and probably not well taken care of (with no stuffing inside). When I received it, I stuffed it and it wasn't so bad. However, the serial and the "Gucci made in Italy" tag doesn't seem right - the words aren't centred it seems. Also the measurements are a few cms off 1-3cm depending on which side (also doesn't seem right :s). The hardware is also really really light, is this standard for Gucci bags? I've never owned one with a chain strap so I'm unsure. The seller sent me this by the way:

The bag was purchased from a reputable seller on ebay. I used it for a while then decided to sell it as it is a bit too small for me.The measurements were from the official site and I never measure it myself however if bag size differs from the stated measurement by a cm or 2 that is understandable as different people measure it differently, and I do not know whether the official one measure the bag when it is full or when it is empty, whether they measure it at the top or bottom, etc. If you have concerns, you can always go to Gucci store and get someone to check the bag out. If you believe it is not authentic, you are welcome to go to store and prove me wrong, and if that really is the case, I will take it back and pay for return postage so you won't lose a cent out of this transaction. Hopefully this is what you are looking for from me. Thanks.

It's fake. Gucci SAs won't authenticate it for you. The only way is to bring it into Gucci and they send it off as a repair. They will refuse the repair if it turns out to be fake. IF you return the bag, you will need to return it as a SNAD and you may need to provide proof, so you will need to pay for a professional authentication service like authenticate4u.

Hello again, clever authenticate members.
I am trying to find a disco bag that is authentic - in Australia the colours are very limited .
