FURLA METROPOLIS - I keep seeing slight differences amongst inner logos in older models of Furla metropolis bag - not only with different models but within the same model as well..... my question ... does these two logos look authentic to you?Any comment is welcome....

I'm a few years late, but I'm having this question as well. The one on the left (on the black suede) is definitely real. That's the one on 3 of the bags I purchased recently from authorized retailers, so I'm guessing it's a newer version. I just bought one with the inner logo on the right, and it's supposed to be from 2014, but I'm questioning the authenticity. I'm very glad you posted this. Have you seen others like the one on the right?

Those are usually fake. Furla is popular in HK and authentic stores exist, but I think you'll find that these (a) are not actually coming from HK or (b) they are being sourced from south China. I placed a similar order out of curiosity and it shipped from Georgia.

By the way, I've seen these stock photos before. Once you receive the bag:

1. Check the smell. If it doesn't smell like leather, it's fake. The fake ones smell of chemicals.
2. Feel the bag. The fake ones feel almost sticky. If you've ever felt real saffiano leather, use that as reference.
3. Finally, check the care card. There will likely be typos in there.

If the price was under $80 for a new one, also high chances it will be fake. Otherwise, these tend to be high-quality replicas. They are still fakes, but it is very hard to differentiate without having a real one next to it.

I wouldn't cancel the order. Get the bag and inspect it. If it's fake, eBay will refund you in full and flag the seller.

Bought this Furla 1927 Mini Crossbody off Amazon from a Chinese seller whose address is in Tennessee. I tried using AliExpress’s ‘similar image’ search function and this model did not pop up, so I have hope that it’s not a replica. It does not have a code inside and comes with an RFID card. Please authenticate!
