Now I have the heebie jeebies worring that its a fake.....I didn't know there were fake Furlas....any advice would be appreciated...

Worried because the lining does not look shiny, nameplate does not have leather behing it and there is no silver Furla tag....however kept searching on web

Dear Furla lovers,

does anyone know about the different, "old" Furla-logo in vintage Furla-bags?

I bought a vintage Furla today from a second-hand shop (I'm pretty sure the bag is authentic) and tried to find some info about it (the years they used it etc).

If you know something, thank you in advance for your answers! :smile1:

Can you help authenticate FURLA purse ?

On the website it says leather but on the bag itself there is no place to say is Geniune leather as usually it says on the FURLA bags ..

The leather it doesn't look as leather to me ...
Only the details are made of leather; the bag is made of canvas.

imo 1980-85.

Thank you! :) I didn't know it existed before I found this bag.

Now I also got the other pics, so what do you think about the authenticity? I absolutely fell in love with the bag even though it's little bit damaged.

I paid ridiculous 5 euros for it so it definitely is a treasure if it's authentic.

Furla was so minor brand in 80´ that the falsifiers were not interested about it.
Stay calm and enjoy your AUTHENTIC Furla. :)

Hey there, I am new to this forum but I hope you can help! I have this Furla bag but can't find anything matching it online. It FEELS genuine but I' not sure and I really don't know what style to search for to find it and validate [or put a price on it] etc! - Handbags are not really my area of expertise, though I do appreciate a good one!

It has all the Furla zippers, tag, stitching looks good, lining looks good, there is 1 stitch a little off on the turn lock but it does't look like a shoddy job, just me being picky, maybe? But the fact I can't find anything similar either means it isn't quite what it seems, is rare or just an older classic.

ETA: I don't know how to add photos so give me a minute, I'll upload them to photobucket

Here ya go...

When I did not get an answer about the bag I was interested in, I simply went to Furla USA website, found their email and wrote to them. Got an answer pretty fast, they even told me what model that is and what year it was made. So I would suggest you do the same. They really are helpful. Also, look for a white tag inside of the bag, it has to have numbers on it. That way Furla can verify if the bag is theirs.

Now that's a quick and efficient way to do it. It also speaks well of Furla's responsive customer service. Thanks for posting your method and to the outcome.

Hi,

Could someone tell me if this Furla Candy bag is authentic? I know nothing about this kind of bag.

If you need more pictures, let me know.

Thanks!
