Thanks so much to both of you ( accio sacculus and baglady.1). I don't have advantage of ever having seen a Fendi Spy in person before. I've never seen or tocuhed one that I could use for some conparison. I was suprised by how delicate the leather seems to be. I have several leather Gucci bags and they have a much thicker leather. Overall I do really like the bag, so I think I'll keep it. When asked the seller was very open with the fact that when she has had multiple items that are the same she uses old pictures. She also offered refund if not happy. Thanks again!

the clasp does tend to get tiny superficial scratches & because it is made of Nappa Leather (lamb) distressed, it is not the best wallet for Wear....a hard leather FENDI or other brand (gucci, chanel, etc) will wear better, since wallets get a lot of use & holding.
Also, I just checked & you are correct, it has 2 different linings. I never noticed before....
but I love it anyways! :yahoo:

Hi. I requested the seller to provide me with this and this is what she said:

I'm sorry but you don't seem to know much about genuine Fendi bags because they don't have any 'leather serial strip'. Therefore I am unable to send you a photo of it because there is no such thing, sorry about that.

Fendi have their serial number on the back of the hologram fabric tag and there are close up pics of that in the listing. Feel free to check this with any Fendi retailer like David Jones.

So now I'm a bit confused. Is this really true or do some Fendi bags just don't have the leather serial strip? Would appreciate more information on this. Thanks again. :)
