I bid and won this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220456219702&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I think it is the same type of bag. ask for photos but she has receipt from selfridge. what luck or un-luck. Mt bid was for GBP $205 or $337 USD and I won. The second bidder bid max the bid by entering GBP200 but the third bidder was only GBP90. If the second bidder did not exist, I would have won this for a silly GBP$90 or $USD148. What a steal that would be but anyhow what will be will be and it is still cheaper than the other buy it now listing for USD$499.

I did see another one sold for $USD320 the other day (someone ask to authenticate it here) and it was brand new. However that bag is the normal canvas zucca material. This bag I won, the seller gave it a 90/100 score.

This is why I asked about the price of the chenille and also the weight. I don't know if it is worth the same price for a preowned bag. It is definately the chenille one as thjis is lined on top unlike this one...

What do you ladies here think?

I think I said this to you before...just because a seller shows a picture of a receipt, doesn't make the bag in question authentic. The fact that you bid, won and paid for this bag based on one photo and a photo of a receipt concerns me... :shrugs:

Hello everyone!

I am a ebay newbie and am planning to sell one of my seldom used bags.

I have taken a few photos of the bag which I bought in Selfridges in 2004. I try to keep receipts but I cannot find this particular one! :(

Can someone please lend a hand and tell me what other photos I should include for the buyer's assurance?

Will also appreciate if someone can tell me the model name?

Many tks in advance!!!

The bag has either a serial # in the pocket or lining or a hologram tag & leather serial # strip, more likely the former on this style. Include pics of the serial #. :D

Hi all! Can someone take a look at this bag for me? I have searched and searched and can not find a serial #. The bag is made very well and has a black leather lining.

Thanks!

Hi

Please forgive me if I am not posting correctly, as this is my first time, and not sure of how to navigate, etc here.
I have purchased this Fendi bag from Deluxe Moda. Though I am not expert like most of you, all looked pretty good, except for the hologram, which is a sticker placed on an inside seam tag. Underneath, it does have "this tag is blahblahblah, & authenticates authenticity. However, I doubt Fendi would use a hologram sticker that looks like it wants to peel off the tag where it was stuck to. I cringe, because I basically already know the verdict, but can you just look at the photo link to confirm my suspicion..Or maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised???? Thank You so much

Since posting the above question & photo, I have found, what I believe is my answer on estyle.com (hologram questions). I have copied & pasted the info I found below, in order to help others who may still have the same question. Also, we would not want to wrongly accuse someone of selling a fake bage because the hologram is adhered on the fabric tag, when in fact, this is how it is done.
If the experts here refute this information, please please please let me know, and why. Thank you so much

Another Fendi Hologram Question
Friday, November 16th, 2007

I had a few more questions about the Fendi Authenticity information you’ve provided on your site. One is that the hologram that is on the opposite side of the Fabric tag, is this a sticker tag (removable) or a sewn in tag? Secondly, on the interior leather tag, does the engraved number need to be exactly the same as the number on the Fendi authenticity/controllato card? If not, does it need just the style number along with other numbers? Your site and information are superb….Thanks for your information… it is so helpful.

Hi Mary Ann
The hologram is a stickered tag if you will. More specifically, “a hologram with a sticky backing that adheres to the fabric tag that is sewn into the lining”. It is removable only in that it can come off, but is not meant to, of course.

The numbers on the leather tag should include the style number but I can’t say with complete certainty that it is ‘exactly’ the number on the Fendi authenticity card or not.
