Need to see clear up close pics of the Leather serial strip and halogram tag
I am pretty sure it is NOT real...but need pic of hologram tag & leather serial # strip to confirm.
Hi ladies, I don't frequent this forum but have always loved the Spy. I have a friend whom I just went to lunch with. She had a Spy in her backseat headed for the consignment shop. She is in need of money quickly. I told her I would buy it from her. I want to give her a fair price. She bought it in NY in 2003. I trust that it's authentic, but I have some pics I took in the car that might help with trying to figure out what to offer her.
Can anyone tell me how to read the tag inside the bag? And does anyone have any idea how much I should offer?

Hi! Can someone in here help with this? Trustworthy friend so if she says it's authentic I believe her, just want to make sure she didn't get duped. I've learned the older bags don't have the hologram. Anything else I should pay attention to to authenticate or figure out how much to offer?

in the meantime "need a clear pic of that leather serial strip and a clear close up of the halogram tag."
I didn't see a hologram tag when I looked at the bag, but will have her check for it. I was doing some reading and read that the hologram was relatively new. Would it have been in a bag from around 2003?
