There is no serial number on the inside pocket, could it be somewhere else? Does the lack of a serial number indicate a fake? It looks to be a vintage bag, but i'm no expert. Thanks for any insight!
While some older pieces may not have the serial #, there are a few things that are VERY un-FENDI Like on Vintage bag:

1. the logo coated canvas material is sewn in Crooked!! (the FFs are not lined up straight & even with the bottom/top of bag.) Fendi is very hi end & did not do this even on vintage bag....! (WTF?)
2. The corosion of the hardware. Many of the vintage bags I have seen have electroplate gold on the hardware & look shiny w/out corrosion. The metal logo plate on interior under zipper is crooked....sometimes they do slip, but this one looks a bit wrong.
3. The lining looks like simulated leather???? LMK what you think there since you have it in your possession. FENDI vintage pieces usually have fine fabric or real leather lining & the serial # is imprinted on the leather lining or a tag attached inside on leather piece.

It is unusual to see so much FENDI detail on a vintage "fake" bag, but the preceding points are my concern. Especially point #1, sure sign of a knock off. Hope this helps. :smile1:

Outstanding eye! Each of the FENDI rivets are engraved...but one of the hidden ones below the buckle(completely unseen and on the back bottom) is engraved LOUIS VUITTON...ha!

I am sure that it's a knock off. Thank you SO much for the time and detail you gave for this piece. Have a great weekend!

lol yes and it's even more beautiful in real :tender:. There are some slight traces of wear (normal secondhand) i don't know the court of spy bag :amuse: but i think i've got a good deal (i paid 550euros= 745$)
i'm going to bed and have sweet dreams...

really nice bag for a nice price.. Congrads!! i love my black Spy, the leather is really nice, and i noticed it doesn't fade like the other colors.
