Authenticate This Fendi

Could you tell me how much a used (good condition) Fendi Grommeted Zucca Bag de Jour (large size) would cost? I want to make a bid but am not sure how much. The asking is 899. I think that is about 350 too much. What do you think?

Hey all,

I got this bag at Goodwill probably some two years ago? Please authenticate and what style is this?

I try to capture the little medallion zipper pull and the side button attached to the strap but you still can't see it clearly. It says:

"Fendi Roma Italy 1925"

The gold lettering on the strap says:

"FENDI S.A.S. (with copyrighted sign, R in a circle)
ROMA MADE IN ITALY"

The metal tag inside the bag says:

"FENDI S.A.S. (with copyrighted sign, R in a circle)
ROMA MADE IN ITALY"

The first picture is really small...went overboard resizing.

It looks pretty good so far. Is there a serial # imprinted on the lining or pocket?

I don't think so? I'll check again.

If no serial #, I can't say 100% for sure it is real. But some older bags did not have the #. However, the bag does look otherwise consistent with a vintage FENDI.
