No matter what I did with my camera, I could not get a good picture of the hologram. It does have the
Fendi Insignia in the middle and is surrounded by little boxes with tiny
Fendi insignias alternating with little lightning like symbols. There is a rainbow colored circle on the top of the hologram.
I had trouble, as well, with the leather tag with the serial number. Maybe this picture will be better.
The thing that convinces me most that it is authentic is how the F's on the fabric of the flap, match up so perfectly with the lower part of the bag. Also, the underside of the inside zipper has a tiny
Fendi Insignia. The lining of the bag has the name Fendi in a small size scattered around the lining. The lining does not have a stitch out of place.
I was told the price of the bag was based on some shopware damage that had occurred. I know that's a story a lot of people use, but this does have some small scratches here and there.
If this bag is not authentic, Fendi is in trouble, because the workmanship looks perfect. I did see a knockoff from Italian Luxe.com and it didn't even come close to looking like this bag. This one looks identical to the one on the Saks Fifth Ave. website.
Thanks for your trouble.
