Hi. Thanks for the input. I asked the seller and he/she sent me new photos of the serial number and the hologram. I'm including the link to the bag as well.

This regards the vintage Fendi I asked about late last night.

I looked everywhere and finally found it inside the pocket. Unfortunately most of the numbers have rubbed off. It looks like it was once around 10 numbers, the last four number are 8 069 (I think). It also looks like there was a sticker or something on it from a faint outline above the numbers but I have no idea. The numbers are a gold color. Sorry I can't be of any other help. I guess it is an old bag after all.

I think it's probably ok, but just can't tell for sure. It's not unusual in these older bags for the serial number to have rubbed off, but it makes it difficult to authenticate these bags.

No pic of the leather serial strip? I'm on the fence on this one. Something is just not sitting quite right for me.

It looks good, IMO , and yes, Fendi uses the clear plastic on the metal plate and Spy glass on the end of the wand. My Blueberry Spy still has both covered...I like it better that way because I don't want the metal plate or Spy glass damaged.

All I can tell you is it's pre-2003. Not sure what the "official" name is -- sometimes Fendi does not really name their bags; they just describe them.
