If you want it authenticated, please post pics. Fashionphile generally has a good reputation, but they aren't infallible. In terms of getting it refurbished, you could have a leather guy dye it, but you might not like the results....

Hi! Ok sorry about the quality of the photos, they were taken with my iphone...the first two pictures show the extent of the damage to the leather (especially on the back)
In photos 3 and 4 these are the locations where I found clear plastic protective coverings (similar to what you would see on a cell phone screen when you buy it and you peel it off)...does fendi use these kind of plastic coverings??
If you can't read the serial number it is: AB32052
The leather strip reads: 2415-8BR511-RO1-058
The bag is from fashionphile, and I paid $750 for it. I think with a little love I could make it look nice again, I am just concerned that it might not be authentic! Please help!!
Thanks so much!!

It looks good, IMO , and yes, Fendi uses the clear plastic on the metal plate and Spy glass on the end of the wand. My Blueberry Spy still has both covered...I like it better that way because I don't want the metal plate or Spy glass damaged.

it is so hard to get clear photos of the hologram! here are a few that are decent...hope this helps!

any opinions on the leather?? I don't mind somewhat of a distressed look, I actually prefer it because I think it adds character, but the back of this one is reallllly faded. Do you think the quality is what I should expect for the price I paid ($750)? a friend recommended mink oil to try to even out the leather, but I am afraid to touch it until I decide whether or not to keep it......

we need to see the serial number to authenticate it.

This regards the vintage Fendi I asked about late last night.

I looked everywhere and finally found it inside the pocket. Unfortunately most of the numbers have rubbed off. It looks like it was once around 10 numbers, the last four number are 8 069 (I think). It also looks like there was a sticker or something on it from a faint outline above the numbers but I have no idea. The numbers are a gold color. Sorry I can't be of any other help. I guess it is an old bag after all.
