Actually, I think this is a current season bag, and it look ok so far, but we do really need to see the hologram and leather serial strip.

#1 - I'm not sure about this one, can you ask for a clear pic of the leather serial strip? Litigatrix, Baglady.1? :confused1:

Please tell me if its authentic

Hi, just wondering whether anyone can tell me if Fendi made the Chef Bag in Pony Hair in 2005? I'm only interested in this bag because it is pony hair as I wouldn't normally buy via eBay. I'm cautious though and I've done as much as I can ie, compared to my other Fendi bags and it seems the serial number is genuine but you can never be sure. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Sharyn

Hi Guys,

I have recently bought 2 Fendi spy bags off e-bay - a covered cream and greeen one and a black one. I did the sensible thing and had them authenticated here first with the webpage and nice clear pics of the hologram and leather strip serial number etc...

The covered cream and green one arrived first and it looks lovely - I even had to remove some of the plastic protective strips off of the mirror and other hardware parts from where the previous owner hadn't removed them. And then the black spy bag arrived today which is also lovely - but the 2 bags are completely different sizes.

The black one measures about 16 x 10 inches and the covered cream one is much larger at around 18 x 12+ inches. Having looked at the holograms, the leather strips and other things that I've read about authentic fendi spy bags, neither of them seems to have anything noticeably wrong with them, but I'm freaking out a little - do these sizes seem 'right' to you guys?

I can post photos of them both if you need to see them later, but my camera's at the office right now and I was just hoping to get your initial thoughts...

Hey Alixis I know they come in small, medium,and large.I own a small (baby) and large myself.It may be a medium or something.Go to the reference section and also post pics when you get back to the office of the difference.I'm sure Litigatrix and the other lovely ladies will give you better insight.
