one thing that always bothers me is when the seller states the value of the bag which is ridiculous. I have this bag in mustard and ivory and it was $2100 when I first saw it in a Fendi store. I got them cheaper later, but the originla price was $2100 not $4000.

here it was discounted at Neiman Marcus from $2100 to $940

It has 99.8% feedback.

If you look at her pics all of them had that background, and l only bought those shoes because somebody at the shoe forum here told me that she had very good reputation but to be honest l am not a 100% sure those shoes are authentic.

I asked for more pics, and they replied back:

Not right now I'm at work maybe later on tonight, handbag is in like new condition and authentic, no rips, no tears or stains all ff logo's & serial date codes are in place, etc., if you know your product and history of Fendi you know this bag was limited and rare only sold on eluxury before they discontinued Fendi and maybe Saks Fifth Ave and thanks for your interest.

I will try to ask for a pic of the hologram. Is the information that she gave correct?

Honestly? I've never seen it before, but that doesn't mean it's not authentic. If the seller knows her product and history of Fendi, then she should know we require more than what she's given to authenticate. If there is a hologram, we need to see it. That being said, this bag is from 2003, the year that Fendi just started to use holograms with their serial numbers. Some bags in 2003 were produced without a hologram. Since she says "maybe later on tonight", I'm assuming there IS a hologram and she will "maybe" take a pic of it for you? She sure has a lot of "maybe"'s for someone who claims to know her Fendi so well. lol :p

Not to contradict any peeps here, but I believe the bag to be authentic. :tup:
Most of the Ostrich (Oyster) bags came out in 2002-3 and did not have a hologram tag - just a few months/seasons prior to the use of them. This appears to be a really cool and rare version of the Ostrich bag....
although FENDI did produce a lot of unusual LE versions of this style...JMHO.:smile1:

Hi Vesna

Thanks for the information. It is good to know this. It is a surprise that the bag has been heavily discounted. I live in Australia, Perth whereby there is no Fendi store here and prices of luxury products are usually more expensive and therefore I buy most of the luxury products online or when I travel overseas. I have not been to US but have heard from friends who travelled there that the luxury products are alot cheaper there. Just out of curiousity when are do Fendi have sales in the US?
