I've been looking to buy this FENDI wallet from ebay but am concerned that it may be a fake.
I am concerned because when I compare that wallet to this one which is in the same style but different colour from the same seller (rosystreasures) the buckle design on the front of this wallet looks different to the other, as indicated by these two pictures.
The fabric surrounding the black wallet is straght edged while the other one has a curvy line and the material is "puffy" looking and shiny. Also, the leather on the black one seems softer and more supple than the one on the tan one, which seems more stiff? I'm concerned it's fake leather? Are FENDI items supposed to look identical if they are the same style or do they tend to have some inconsistences in the design?
I've asked the buyer which season the FENDI is from but he/she does not seem to know. Does this style seem familiar to you and would you happen to know which season the wallet is from?

This is a vintage bag & would need a pic of serial # inside stamped on lining or on a strip.
I am very familiar with this wallet & very sure the the Black one may not be real particularly. These wallets should have a serial # embossed on leather along the edge of the compartment where you keep the cash - I need close & clear pic. Also they should have a black cloth tag with a hologram on it. I need a pic of that clear & close & need to see code on it.Hi baglady.1!
