You know, I did not want to say anything when you submitted it, but I really don't care for that bag either! I think FENDI just made it as an inexpensive travel bag that was waterproof, more for carrying packed items than their usual line of fancy handbags. Totally don't care for it & it does look like a cheap fake, even though it is auth FENDI! :blah:

I really need help with this. I had someone buy it from me and they are in Canada. These were "free with purchase" of fendi parfume back in 80's. Because the inside tag reads "exclusively made for fendi parfums made in Taiwan" she says it's counterfeit. Also claims the zipper is all wrong and front logo/fendi patch is WAY OFF all wrong. I know the source of this item. I purchased 4 other mint vintage Fendi items ALL with store tags/boxes, just this item came "Free" w/purchase so there was no store tag! There are few others on ebay as well now and completed. I am REALLY hoping someone can help me. Im in touch also with Castira and mypoupette because this buyer WILL NOT mail it back without "WRITTEN" authenticity. Please help me! TIA!

Hi Bag Lady! I was wondering if you could authenticate this bag for me, I think it's fine...There is another like it on ebay and I've contacted both sellers and both say there are no serial numbers or anything inside the bag & both insist that they bought the bags themselves and they're authentic...however since it's older and the detail looks good I am inclined to think that it's fine. I'll post both listings...Thanks for looking!

These both look consistent with vintage era FENDI design I have seen before but they SHOULD have a serial #. It is usually imprinted in metallic ink on the pocket lining of the bag. Sometimes you have to look closely to see it. ;)

I've already asked both ladies and they insist nothing is there...and that both were purchased by them at Fendi or Fendi outlet stores...I've asked the first seller to please look again as I do know the metallic ink can fade & rub off especially in the older bags.....we'll see what she says...some ebayers can get pretty nasty when you start asking lots of questions...but I don't feel bad!I'm covering my bases and if they have a good product they should have no problem answering my questions anyway!

Can you please post a clear close up pic of the hologram tag and the serial stamp on the back of the leather patch shown in your pic #3. If you received an Authn card a pic of that would be helpful. :smile1:
