Hi. More photos attached. The interior does have a shiny look to it, but not overly so. There isn't any sort of metal plate or other logo inside the bag, other than what's stitched into the material. The outside has a heavy tapestry feel to it and the bag can pretty much stand up on its own. The inside material isn't as heavy though. All of the stitching is even and there aren't any loose threads or broken stitches. I've had the bag since about 2000, so I'd say the bag would be from the 90s. Have more pictures to upload, too. Thanks for your help. :smile1:

I don't think it predates the numbering system (before 1980s). It looks really new to me for being as old as you say it is. I can't really say for sure that it is fake, but not getting the warm fuzzies about the bag either. Can you provide more close ups & pics of the bag including full interior photos, grommet close ups, tie drawstring, underside of zipper, stitching details. Is the interior lining shiny? Does it have a metal plate of any sort inside with the logo on it? Is the fabric exterior thick & sturdy or light weight?

PS: I have seen bags with the same sort of LOGO design before that have had the serial #. Also there are some other things that look "off".
