Hi team. Not sure if this is the right thread to post this as my purchase is not from an auction site. I purchased a Lucia bag from Farfetch. I've never had doubts about my Far Fetch purchases in the past. The bag appears perfect in appearance however it has quite a strong smell similar to plastic and not the typical leather smell I've always had with other bags. Is this normal for certain bags?

I am the buyer of this bag.when I just got it, I think it authentic , until I find out ugly detail on the bottom of the back, I think it is not authentic.because all my purse, they don't have ugly detail like this.and I go to D&G website, I found some backpack similar with this one( same style , just a little different about detail), and this backpack have a few detail total different:1/ liner inside total different,( on website liner have logo Dolce Gabbana, this one do not have).2/logo inside total different ( on web , the metal logo on the leather , this one just have the metal).3/the main thing make me up set because Ugly detail on the bottom of the back.i never see any brand name with that ugly finishing.
So can you explain me more for I can understand how is fake and how is authentic ? I truly thank you !
Thats because this is the plastified leather. Pretty normal.

I normally dont give hints here and nobody does. We are authenticators and help people save their money but thats all.
Let me tell you something.
There are fakes and very good fakes but this is not one of them.
Totally not the case!
This is a limited edition travel backpack and each of them was different. For example, the London one has the logo inner line just like you explain. This is different by it's vintage finish look metal details (plaque inside, locks etc) and back of it which had those stripes.
The "finish look" you asked it's not something new and it deteriorates in time (especially at corners - the leather ). You probably have Dolce Gabbana bags but you dont wear much.
This backpack was probably carried with something heavier then it could handle so thats why it brake at that detail.
