I knew this was the authentication request thread but not being expert on D&G, I didn't want to assume that because something is ugly that it's fake.

So I wanted an expert opinion.


Bonz will remove fakes, whether it's a fake for $10, $100 or $1000. (Ebay could take lessons from Bonz.)

So in answer to your question, if reporting a fake so it doesn't get sold on Bonz saves someone even just $6, I don't mind reporting it.

I am so glad there is a forum for D&G. Just got this little wallet off ebay. The tags/logos all look fine, but the stitches (inside) are not even and no s/n stamped on the leather anywhere. that makes me a little concerned. Pls help me take a look. thanks so much.

Not sure where to post this: GOLD HARDWARE FADING

I have an AUTHENTIC Dolce & Gabbana sicily bag. I noticed that the gold hardware (specifically the chains that hold the handles) are fading in the parts where the harware pieces rub against each other. Looks like the gold is coming off and silver is showing through. Also some blackish tar-like residue is evident in those parts. This residue comes off when I use an alcohol wipe on it.

Has anyone else had issues with Dolce & Gabbana hardware fading? Is this normal?

Absolutelly normal.
It happends even at Louis Vuitton purses.
