I've never seen this Dior bag & wanted to know if it even exist & if this one is a fake or not. Thanks for the help!:yahoo:

This bag is perfectly authentic too! The color of the fabric is actually maroon (a very brownish maroon), and that's why you see both red and brown in it. The color combination (with the tan leather accents) is very beautiful!

Sorry but this bag is fake. The dustbag, plastic-wrapped old-generation authenticity card, completely inaccurate Dior logo on the bottom, CD zipper pull (which should only appear on the saddle), interior leatehr flap, and logo lining are all wrong. The paper tag is wrong, too...the sticker should be stuck inside the card-like tag and this bag is obviously not made of polished leather ("veau lisse" is polished leather). The bag should actually be made of jersey and rubber.

By the way, Sabine's Boutique seems to sell real bags...I can't say for sure because i never bought from them but the pictures of the bags are of authentic ones!

thanks for the info! i know everyone here can always count on you in determining if a dior is real. how you do it is really amazing, if it were me, i'd think that every one of them is real (well bar the obvious china fakes).

and yes, sabine's boutique seems pretty interesting. i think i might either get the plaid one or the black one then. cheers! :smile1:

I have a feeling that Sabine's Boutique buys from the Woodbury Commons Dior outlet and sells the bags for $100(+) more. All the designs on Sabine's Boutique are those that have been spotted at Dior outlets (according to PFers). Just know that while you may be getting an authentic brand new bag, you may be paying more than if you actually went to the outlets to buy them. I would save up for a shopping spree at Woodbury Commons...I know quite a few tour companies will take people there.
