Hi again Nightshade!

Thank you for posting the additional pictures! This Ballet bag is authentic!!!!!

As for the date that the Ballet bag was released (and the price), I am clueless...anyone else know more about this lovely bag?

Okay Thanks....

Does anyone know of any sellers on Ebay that sell Authentic gauchos?

TIA
:)

Hi CountryGirl!

Sadly, almost all sellers that sell multiple Dior Gauchos (especially those that sell multiple copies of the exact same bag...i.e. same style and color) sell fakes. Some sellers sell more than 1 Gaucho (different versions and colors, though) and some of their auctions are authentic.

There are sellers that sell many authentic Gaucho bags (all their Gauchos are different models and colors, though) at once, but the prices they sell them at are either the same or higher than boutique prices, and why should anyone buy the bags from them?

^kimle888 - my gut says it's fake ... pics are too out of focus. Sellers who sell authentic items always show clear pics and clear close ups of the item. I think when pics are blurry, the seller is hiding something.

Hi asl_bebes!

I hope I don't offend you, but the bag in the pictures is 100% authentic (although I'm not sure if the authentic bag will be shipped to the buyer). This item was actually relisted because the reserve was not met last time (at over $300US)...At $300 the seller would have sold the bag if it were a fake (that's a LOT of profit), and yet she didn't.

Still, I wouldn't buy this bag because the seller has no feedback scores from buyers (you don't know if she's accurate in terms of her item descriptions, i.e. if she lies about the condition of the bag, which may be why the pictures are so blurry). So even if she will send an authentic bag, it may be in a condition that you didn't pay for.

THANK YOU ALL for your replies. Yes, I checked the feedback and that makes me hesitant to buy the bag. I'm still like the purse, though, I'm new to this forum as well as ebay, any suggestions? Let me ask if she can send me more pictures. Again, thank you!!!!

That's okay, MayDay:flowers: I do admit that I don't know much about this style ... it's just I've seen so many real good fakes in the older styles of Dior. When pics are blurry that's a red flag to me already plus like you stated the seller doesn't have enough feedback to warrant whether she's a trustworthy seller.

Actually blurry pictures are a red flag for me too! If someone is going to buy a bag for over $500, they should be able to see CLEAR pictures of it. I know that not everyone has a digital camera (and sometimes it breaks), but if the seller can somehow afford to buy a designer bag (unless they stole the bag), I'm sure they can afford a working digital camera (or they should wait till they get the camera repaired before they sell the bag).

Anyway, if the seller had better feedback I'd buy this bag, because I really want this style of the Lady Dior (even though it's small).
