this is authentic...however in the future, we need both the frond and back of the date code tag to authenticate.....just because it is 130, you cant say its authentic...a fake bag was sold on ebay a couple of weeks back for over 2500 usd.

Hey : ) I was sort of eyeing that Dior Double Gaucho that was being authenticated (and turned out to be real)...and just my opinion on this...but I think it was kind of unfair to say that there are 'mixed opinions' about Luxuca.com authenticity. Even back then all the items they were actually selling looked authentic...and in the past 2+ years every item authenticated on this forum from Luxuca has been authentic.

I hate to see a good company be brought down when they work hard for their reputations. I feel personal about this because other than the fact that I've bought a few bags from them, all of which have been real, they also helped me get my money back with a Chanel bag I stupidly bought on ebay impulsively that ended up not being real. When I went to Chanel at Holt Renfrew Montreal, they suggested Luxuca for help. So I did and they verified the bag and wrote the letter I needed to get a refund from the ebay seller. Paypal recognizes them as credited authenticators... and they were super helpful! Just saying... imo, it's a really great company.

that's not an opinion I'm making about the site, it's a fact that previous members' comments show that there was some doubt as to whether or not bags sold from Luxuca.com were authentic. Great if they've been selling authentic bags all along without any issues, but even some reputable online retailers sell fake designer bags every now and then, I won't even mention their names

I have since got the seller to upload pics of the authenticity card and dustbag. Does it not matter that the authenticity card is not filled in? and the seller gave me a serial number 01RU 0024 which if you google comes up in loads of 'Dior' bags.

I have used up all my photo's... One photo shows the label in the bag.. It says Christian Dior Paris on the front tag -it's back is Made in Italy.
I have been asked about the serial number and there is no serial number-- so I called the Christian Dior shop in Beverly HIlls and spoke to the manager-- first she said the bag should be selling for at least 3x my listed price and that it nows sells for over 3400.00... She also said that my bag did not come with a serial number.... I hope that answers your question"

is it possible to do the authentication with what is available? thank you

I don't believe for a second that the sales associate told her that.

And I cannot be sure of the authenticity without the required close-up pictures.

I suggest waiting for another Lady Dior auction on Ebay with a good price.
