Hi there

I found a dusty Dior bag in the dumpster, cleaned it up and it looks pretty authentic. its lambskin lining and shiny leather on the outer quilted side. the only thing is it doesnt have a serial number.
I looked online at other bags ad the lining is fabric in some. it says on the inner pocket on the tag Christian Dior and underneath PARIS. and online i saw different , even one that said' made in Italy'

my question is :
1. how do i know its real?
2. did the fakes come in lambskin??

I must emphasis that the leather is so soft!!

Hi, this is my first post here so I hope I don't make any mistakes with this authentication request. XD

I have had dialogue with the seller asking for definitive proof of its authenticity by asking for more pictures, namely of the authenticity card and the details of the bag. She said that she'd provide me with an invoice and after I said that's fine and asked for more pictures, she suddenly said that she's away at work until after the auction ends. It sounded too convenient for me so I was just posting here for confidence and peace of mind.

Absolutely fake. Thank goodness someone decided to throw it out instead of selling it (it's illegal and unethical to sell a fake).

You should throw it back in the dumpster.

Stay away, but not because of the item's authenticity. Assuming that the seller is actually trying to sell an authentic bag, if she can't even bring herself to provide photos to sell something at such a high value, then what WILL she do once you have paid and the money and bag are not in your reach? She may delay shipping, not send you proof of delivery, or not be available should something go wrong. She may even not respond to any emails after you've paid, leaving you to worry.

And not being available to provide photos is usually a big indication that the bag in the pictures does not belong to the seller at all.

Do not bid on this. It's not worth the trouble, no matter what deal you end up getting.
