Authenticate This Dior - please read post 1 FIRST

I was always under the impression that the saddles had a serial number?

Perhaps someone else can help answer this question?

I say this because I have a couple of saddles, some newer than others, and my older ones (pre-2000) that have that same type of inside tag, on the back it does say "Made in Italy" and then a serial (date code) follows to indicate the year of production.

I haven't seen a Saddle without a serial number, but that doesn't mean that it's fake either.

If this is the exact same polo that you received, then it's authentic. Dior Homme has some resort pieces as well as non-runway collection pieces that are made this way. They are meant to be priced at more entry-level pricing than their collection pieces.

Sorry, but the Purse Forum is not an official 3rd party. They probably mean that you need a written statement from Dior saying that this polo is fake, and it's very difficult to obtain this statement (the boutiques won't do it for you).

I advise that you return the item as "item not as described" and use your credit card to file a charge-back if the seller doesn't refund your money.

I have been in contact with them and they said that an online authentic forum would be sufficient enough to provide me with my money back. On the email it just says an organisation and in brackets it says 'other than yourself'

So if possible, could you assess my dior top please? Thanks

I just bought it and did some research and found the strap of ALL such bags are fixed on the shorter side of the saddle (ie. clip on the longer side) but this one is the reverse.
So I am not sure if it is authentic. Pls help me. Thanks

Fake, and this was NOT given with the purchase of a Dior perfumes. Can't believe this seller is going to the point of making this up just to cover the fact that the bag is fake.
