Hi everyone,

I know this isn't a purse but rather, supposedly a Dior Homme wallet, but regardless, I was wondering if anybody had any input on the authenticity. The deal almost seems too good to be true and the link to luisviaroma is broken. I only vaguely remember seeing this wallet there in the past (i.e. I cannot remember any real details :( ) But I've been dying for a passport wallet and to find a beautiful Dior one is a dream come true, but I'd rather avoid it turning into a nightmare!

There are a few pictures and I've asked the seller if it's possible to take a picture of the production sequence stamp, and I understand that it is simply a "Dior" stamp instead of a "Christian Dior Stamp" but I don't know much about Dior Homme wallets vs other Dior wallets as to whether to use that to decide it is a fake or not.

I've searched purseforum for this eBay seller and I've seen mixed reviews. Seems like the seller may just not be very concerned for us buyers!

Hi I asked seller she said no serial on the back
She assured me iit is real and bought from Dior

Can she take a clearer shot of the front of the tag? From her pictures, its very hard to make out the print.

Also, ask for a picture of the (1) CD zipper pull inside the bag and (2) the back of the connector between the C and D on the handle.

ok i will ask is it possible no serial in the back?

I was always under the impression that the saddles had a serial number?

Perhaps someone else can help answer this question?

I say this because I have a couple of saddles, some newer than others, and my older ones (pre-2000) that have that same type of inside tag, on the back it does say "Made in Italy" and then a serial (date code) follows to indicate the year of production.

Thanks for the verification averagejoe, somebody snatched it up before I did though!

Does anyone have any input on this wallet? Thank you in advanced to anyone who can confirm :)

Item name: Dior Homme Wallet
Item number: 98024989 (It's Bonanza, not eBay, so I assume this is the #)
Seller ID: exmoda

Here are some additional pictures from the seller (unfortunately, no clear inside pictures):

Hi

I have purchased a men's dior polo top online and paid through PayPal.
When I received it, I could clearly see in my opinion that it was not authentic. The badge was slightly too big, both inside tags were different and of lesser quality. The quality of the top wasnt great and the paper tag looked fake as well as the packaging it came in. PayPal are saying I need a third party to confirm that it is fake before they will refund me. Can this be done here please? Thanks

Sorry, but the Purse Forum is not an official 3rd party. They probably mean that you need a written statement from Dior saying that this polo is fake, and it's very difficult to obtain this statement (the boutiques won't do it for you).

I advise that you return the item as "item not as described" and use your credit card to file a charge-back if the seller doesn't refund your money.
