Please could you authenticate this Dior bag, and if real is it possible to find our which year approx is it from and what is the style name? Also, if real, shall I do something with handles to prevent them from tearing completely, the process has already started in all 4(pics below). Many thanks in advance! I have like 12 hours during which I can purchase this bag from a seller. Thanks for understanding ;)))

It's authentic, although I suggest that you pass on this bag given the tear. You may be able to super-glue the tear and seal it (it will look a bit glued in that area, though), but given the location of the tear, it will probably just rip apart again.

thank you so much for your reply!! All four handles have the same little tears. I was thinking if I will not overload the bag it may last for quite some time? I have never owned a designer bag before apart of Mac Daddy by Rebecca Minkoff. Sorry do you know if this is an old style or smth (which year approx) and if there is a style name for it? Many thanks in advance!:smile1:

I don't know the name of this bag.

If you have to be very careful with the bag because of the tears, then it won't be a good first-designer-bag experience. It's better to just get a pre-owned Dior without tears. I've seen some authentic Dior bags in good condition end at ridiculously low prices on Ebay, and some of the styles are more recognizable. Just check Ebay periodically, and if you see something that you're interested in, then just post it in this thread for us to authenticate :smile1:

Many thanks for your help and advice! I will sleep on it and decide what to do :)

I have the exact pair and I can say that they are authentic! HOWEVER, I must say the price is kind of high since they were from seasons ago...if you browse on eBay enough times you can probably get them for about 50-70 dollars. I hope that helps!
Thanks a lot! I asked the seller about the Safilo tags/booklet and he said they didn't come with any. Should this be a concern?
I know the price is too high (-managed to haggle it down to $145), but I didn't have any luck finding a pair for cheaper and everywhere seems to have sold out of this model. Some store told me this model was discontinued.

Would a discontinued model be worth more or the opposite? Thanks for the input!
