Hi there! I've been taking a Coach break after getting burnt out from rehabbing bags (anyone else ever feel that way?) I had to come out of hibernation for the Beaumont satchel, though, as I've been wanting to get my hands on one for the longest time! I was looking at bags online and saw these two. I didn't purchase them because I wasn't sure about the authenticity and there's a mysterious X on one of the creeds. What do you think?

Item: Coach 9871 (Beaumont Satchel)
Listing number: 182856707769
Seller: anndufourschmi-0
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/182856707769
Comments: Spacing of letters on creed looks wide and there's an X mark (not sure if there were factory bags back then?)

Listing number: 391915462144
Seller: tjpholdings

Comments: Looks okay to me, but I always get suspicious when certain Coach styles don't get many bids lol!

Both are fine.

Although "X" doesn't always mean the bag is authentic (since the counterfeiters will fake anything if they think it'll help them sell), in this case it's fine and indicates a bag that was sent to a discounter such as TJ Maxx, Marshalls, the now-defunct Filene's Basement, etc.

Bags with "X" aren't/weren't eligible for warranty or returns to Coach stores.

Please don't report! What makes you think it's not Authentic? It's from 60s.

Wow, would not have reported unless you said so. I had no idea it was authentic and will put in my bid. I just did not know.
But found it very attractive. Have never seen anything similar with a name on it like that. Thanks

Looking for help authenticating and finding more information like year, name and value of these three bags I found at a thrift store today. I am new to this forum so any help would be useful. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. All three are authentic. The last one is a Rambler's Legacy made in 2001. The other two are from the early 90s. We can't comment on value.
