This is a hoot and a half. Seller had this bag listed for 16.99 and it didn't sell. No creed photo. Relisted at
14.99 wthout creed photo. Emailed seller, asked for creed photo to check authenticity. Seller responded right away with a creed photo A7Z 9053 " from a smilar bag" with a cell phone screen shot of the similar bag. Said it was already authenticated. Guess seller does not have the bag in their possession. Seller also raised the price to 16.99!
Here's the listing with seller's ID. Should I take a chance?

The blue bag has a serial I am unsure of, which makes me question their listing for the very similar black version they have listed.

Any help is always greatly appreciated. I'd like to know style names as well but can ask over on the identify thread if that's what is appropriate.

Thanks!

1- Whateve already ID'd this one as a Chauncy Bag

2- I don't have a name for the L33-4447 in my files, sorry, probably some kind of Demi.

3 and 4- No definite name for A33-9582 either. It may have been MFF (Made For the Factory outlet) and names of those styles are usually very hard to find unless you spot one that still has the original price tag. I'm pretty sure it's from the Soft Legacy line from 2003 which usually has that "burnished leather" creed and is made of a very lightweight leather.

There was an almost-identical small bag, same shape and details but differences in the stitching colors, from the Legacy West line with slightly thicker leather that may have been made for the full-price stores called a Legacy West Camera Bag, style number 9589, so I'm going to guess that the -9582 style was called the Soft Legacy Camera Bag. The fourth bag you asked about is the -9589 Legacy West version. Both styles are genuine.

The bag in the listing looks good assuming it's the same bag you'll receive. I don't understand what you mean by a "similar bag" and a cell phone picture.

Why would the seller send a photo "from a similar bag" instead of the one she's selling? That doesn't make any sense. She's already taken plenty of photos so she obviously has a camera.

I'd contact her back and tell her that you want a photo of the creed in the bag you're actually buying so your own authenticators can look at it. And if she blocks you, no big loss. From what you've said, I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her anyway if she won't send a creed photo.

I'm still confused. I don't think the creed photo added to the listing is a cell phone picture and I don't think the seller steals pictures from other sellers. She has many lisitngs, all with similar photos, photographing style and views of bags.

That she raised the price isn't unusual. In asking a question, you gave the impression you're a captive audience and you have interest so having previously reduced the price when it wasn't selling, she raised it slightly in hopes that she can sell it for more.

BTW, I did an image search as well as looked at every brown current and completed 9053 and I wasn't able to find that the picture in the lisitng didn't belong to the seller.

Seller added the creed photo to the listing. I think she sent me a photo of another similar bag to show me the $80 selling price. Asking for clarification on the creed. Bargain bag possibility, but so much trouble. From what you saw, was it authentic?

Asked for clarification as to if creed pic added to listing is from the actual bag.

Thank you so much, Hyacinth! I appreciate all the information!

Hi everyone, I just received a coach purse as a gift and was wondering if you could help me authenticate it.

Item Name: Ashley Leather Carryall (F19243)
Link: N/A

I apologize if I've missed something (I'm new here). The bag is black, leather, the stitching all seems sturdy and straight. I don't see any noticeable defects. The serial number in the creed reads "No. A1380-F19243" in case you can't see it clearly in the photo.

Thanks in advance for any help!
