I got this one yesterday and just love the red color on this bag. It's my first Couch bag in my growing collection. Yes it was listed as a Couch Bag on ebay and wasn't getting any bids. I watched and decided to bid towards the end of bidding time and got it for $45 including shipping.
I think this is a Coach Hampton Clip Hobo Stripe Signature Bag. There is no wear at all and looks brand new.
If the authenticators can authenticate this Coach bag please?

Looks like the same color as my Willis. I wonder if they were made in the same year. I'll have to check.

I was so excited when I got this bag and ran for the mail gal when she drove up. Had to make a package swap with her since I had an ebay sale going out.

I found a matching Coach wallet at GW that started at $4.99 and thought about getting a matching wallet. Been watching the bidding and forgot to check on it later today before the auction ended. I'll have to keep hunting around for another one.

It's called a Slim Pouch and may have been an early version of what became the Station Bag. It may even have the same style number, 5130, and was made some time around 1978.

Here's a pic that might help. The catalog photo shows the same kind of silvery button as the other 5 on the body, but this picture I found somewhere else looks more like yours. So it's hard to say if they changed that detail before production or if the eye button just had a tendency to fall off.

As for dunking, wait for more opinions.

I don't have a picture in my records of the wristlet but I do have the coordinating keychain, style 1674.

I would assume (though not guarantee) that the fish on the wristlet would have been the same. The eye appears to be a sequin with a bead on top.

Hey joodlz! I dunked a Mandy in this color. Can't tell if yours needs it. it was a little scary but totally uneventful. Took a while to dry but the leather smell in the room was yummy!

Hey You...I remember you had one! This one is in amazing condition, though the lining is dirty. I dunked her smaller rose Legacy Leather Shoulder Bag "cousin" a year or so ago, so I'm pretty fearless about this one The leather is amazing...lots of great cowhide for so little money!

Found it on the wayback: 2005 Metallic Pleated Hobo #8B33. She'll be delighted to know the original MSRP

Looks like a 2003 City Bag #9790. I have one in dark brown, also from China, but my creed has the usual wording. This one says "individually burnished"...something special? Very lightweight, silky leather. Any and all info is appreciated...thanks, again!

Both are genuine. Coach did a lot of "burnished" leathers during that time but I've never seen it on a City Bag. Interesting find!
